This litter of has a pedigree that includes Field Trial Champions, HRC-Champions and AKC-Master Hunters, APLA-Grand Master Pointing Retrievers.

We own both the Sire and Dam.  They reside in our house and accompany us on waterfowl hunts, upland hunts, and hunt tests.  Both Dreke and Riven have a perfect demeanor for being in the house, are bitable, and “light up” when they hit the field for hunting or training.

These pups will be socialized with people and dogs.  They will also be introduced to live birds and dead birds before going home.

We are selling these puppies with a limited AKC registration.  We have (4) black females, (2) black males, 3 yellow females, 1 yellow male.

Background:

Duke has solid point, very stead, and is a great marking retriever.  He is a tremendous family dog as well.  Dreke is approximately 60lbs.   Dreke is offspring of Rooster, a very well known  and highly sought after stud dog for Pointing and Retriever Labrador Breeders.

Hunt Tests & Training:

Dreke has been proven his talent at hunt test venues including American Kennel Club (AKC), Hunting Retriever Club (HRC) and American Pointing Lab Association (APLA).  Dreke is qualified for AKC Master National Event and HRC’s Grand Hunt Test.  Dreke is also a professional guide dog a Willow Lake Sportsman Club.

Hunting: Dreke’s steadiness, strong marking ability and his hunting drive have made him an absolute joy for everyone that hunts with him.

He has been hunting upland and waterfowl his entire life.  Dreke started hunting in Michigan and North Dakota at 8 months old and continues to be on every hunting outing with me.

“Riven”

Background:

Riven has a very natural point, tremendous drive, great marking ability, and amazing drive.  Riven is a super gentle sweetheart in the house.  She melts when you give her attention.  She is a very quick learner, confidently bold, very loyal, and loves to train.  Riven is approximately 50 lbs.

This female is the pup that I personally picked from the litter and by happen chance she is still with us.  She has boldness, prey drive, and a desire for companionship. She has been introduced to live birds. She has shown natural point and has retrieved live birds to hand.  She reminds me of Elle, in her looks, and the way she lead the pack of pups during the first 7 weeks with us.  She has dew claws removed, dewormed multiple times and vaccinated at 6 wks and 9 wks of age.  She went through early neurological stimulation, regular puppy adventures, and is well socialized.  She has full AKC registration paperwork and our 26 month health guarantee for eyes, hips and elbows.

Hunt Tests & Training:  Prior to reaching 1yr old Duke earned titles of CPR, APR in the APLA and 3 for 3 Started passes in the HRC. At 18 months he earned his MPR and 20 months earned his GMPR.  His natural tendencie to run straight made him a dream dog in retriever training. 

Hunting: He is tall and is built to cover ground. He is a been hunting upland and waterfowl his entire life.  Even a 9 years old Duke is the still the dog that accompanies Mark (Duke’s owner) on every hunting outing.

Background: Elle has a tremendous point and great marking ability as most of the dogs with her pedigree.    Elle is a sweetheart in the house. She loves to lick the face and cuddle up next to the people in her life.  Elle is approximately 45 lbs.

Hunt Tests & Training:  Elle has her APLA Certified Pointing Lab Title and in HRC she is 2 for 2 Started Passes and 2 for 2 in Seasoned Passes.  She will be going for her Master Pointing Lab and Hunting Retriever Titles in Spring of 2017.  She is a dream to train due to her desire to please, her natural point, and her passion to retrieve.

Hunting: Elle is a professional guide dog.  She is has a natural point and close range working which is great for both grouse hunting and pheasant hunting.  Her nose and marking abilities make her a joy to have in the upland field and duck blind.
