Dreke is my first pointing lab. It has been an absolute privilege to have him as part our kennel and our family. Dreke has a very low key personality around the house. He loves to crawl up on your lap or climb into bed and pretend that you called him up. On the other hand, when he gets an opportunity to hunt waterfowl, upland or participate in a hunt test he is fully of anticipation to say the least. Regardless of where he is or what he is doing, Dreke has a very kind personality, aims to please, and enjoys working as team.
Dreke has been proven his talent at hunt test venues including American Kennel Club (AKC), Hunting Retriever Club (HRC) and American Pointing Lab Association (APLA). Dreke is qualified for AKC Master National Event and HRC’s Grand Hunt Test. Dreke is also a professional guide dog a Willow Lake Sportsman Club.
He is the ideal size for a pointing lab, approximately 60 lbs. He can carve up the upland field and strong enough to retrieve Greater Canadian geese. Dreke is an experienced veteran in the pursuit of waterfowl, pheasants, quail, partridge, and grouse in various hunting adventures throughout the country, including, North Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Missouri, and Arkansas.
