GUN DOG
We will teach you and your dog how to work together in completing basic obedience, conditioned retrieving, marking multiple falls, and being steady to wing and shot.
GUN DOG 201 – fundamentals
Typically a 3-month program / class

For those that like to compete with their gundogs we encourage and participate in the National Bird Dog Challenge.
CHAMPION
We will build on the foundation created in the GUN DOG Program to provide the training needed for both you and your wingman to become a Champ in Hunt Tests and/or Field Trials.
HUNT TEST 301 – master/finished

Steady to Wing, Shot and Fall while Honoring
about Hunt Test Champions
The achievements gained through successfully passing a Hunt Test earns the dog a ribbon. Depending upon the venue and the level of achievement desired, after passing additional hunt tests earns the dog a Title. The Titles are proof of good breeding, sound training, true teamwork, and a tremendous honor for the dog, the dog handler/trainer, and the dog owner.
FIELD TRIAL 302 – field champion
Typically a 7-12 month program / class

about Field Trial Champions
We are experienced in Pointing Dog and Retriever Field Trials.
For Retriever Field Trials, we are currently training with a select group of dogs for competing in AKC Qualified All Age and Open Events. We believe that it takes the right breeding, natural ability, and desire, to compete in Field Trials. If you are interested in competing as a handler-owner team at amateur field retriever trial events or having us compete with your dog as a professional, we can offer you a training program that works for you.
For Pointing Field Trials, we have successfully participated in these in the past with our personal dogs. We are not currently active in pointing dog field trials. However, if you have questions or need to be pointed in the right direction, give us a call, we would love to help.
